Adam West and Burt Ward are taken on a crazy adventure when the Batmobile is stolen from a car museum and they must track down the thief and return it. After solving a puzzle, they realize that the clues to finding the fiend who stole the Batmobile are hidden in their past. During the search, they flashback to their three seasons in tights, including their many sexual escapades. Ultimately they find the Batmobile, but get caught in the villain's lair. Tied to dynamite, will Adam and Burt get out in time? Tune in next time…same bat time…same bat channel!! When the Batmobile is stolen, Adam West and Burt Ward search for it while remembering their days as the stars of the Batman live action series. It's a wonderful movie, with the same "spirit" that the 1966's show had. remarkable movie, full of details. I'm waiting for the 2° part!. The time passed since the last show , almost 35 years, made some of the actors and actresses look , besides older, very strange, for example, Julie Newmar's face looked similar to her's 1966 face in the long distance shots, but in the shorts she looked like a handsome granny (according with her actual age). The whole movie seemed to be a simple "bussiness" to raise some bucks, but the people like me, who stayed for years in front of the TV looking those bat heroes, can't have an objetive vision of the quality or further annalisis, it's only about having again 8,9 or 10 years. congratulations for Adam and Burt and all the castings. I've loved the movie bye Given the original Batman {1966~68} series this telemovie was based upon, I was surprised it was this somber. A nostalgic look {via flashbacks} at the making of the original Batman television series as Adam West and Burt Ward attempt to track down the thief who stole the Batmobile. With Adam West relating a little to close to his character… reminding me a bit of John Ritter's Hero @ Large. While one has to feel for Burt Ward, as his stunt double was always on a coffee break whenever a dangerous stunt needed to be done. Even better was seeing Julie Newmar once again.

If the flashbacks to the making of "Batman" are to be believed, Ms Newmar fully understood the singularity of Catwoman… she is a cat, Batman's a flying mouse, purrrr {who was that playing the young Julie Newmar again?… purrrr meow}. The only real problems I saw with this was the lack of a contemporary Yvonne Craig {now a successful real estate agent in California}, and that after the first hour the film tended to degenerate back into the campy spoof from which it Sprang. Though it was a very well done effort. Good Show!!
